Karin De Ridder is heading up the Standards Development team in Swift where she manages all aspects of standards development in the areas of securities, payments, FX and trade finance.

Karin has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry and has been heading up different teams in Swift. She has been involved in various industry groups such as the Securities Market Practice Group (SMPG), the Payments Market Practice Group (PMPG) and various ISO committees and working groups looking at different standards including ISO 15022 and ISO 20022.

Karin holds a Master of Business Economics degree from the Solvay Business School, as well as a Master in Marketing Management from the Vlerick Management School.
