Marc McCarthy is Founder and CEO of ReconIQ, an independent, vendor-agnostic advisory firm specialising in reconciliation. He has spent more than 25 years on every side of the reconciliation market: as a practitioner in product and financial control at Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, BP and Jefferies; as an implementer leading IntelliMatch and SmartStream TLM programmes at Westpac and ING; and on the vendor side in senior consulting and commercial roles at AutoRek and as Chief Commercial Officer at Kani Payments. Marc founded ReconIQ in 2024 to give institutions impartial, specialist guidance on reconciliation controls, operating models and technology selection, with a particular focus on transaction reporting and trading operations.
