Mr McNamara began his career in the Central Bank of Ireland where he held a number of different roles in the field of collateral management. In 2016 Gary joined the European Central Bank, where he works in the Market Integration Division. His current focus is on the development and implementation of policies to support the integration of collateral management practices in Europe to include, inter alia, the harmonisation of corporate actions.
