Steve Lamarra is an operations man through and through. He is currently Head of the Investment Positions Keeping teams based in Brussels and Paris for BNP Paribas Investment Partners. After graduating from Loughborough in 2007, he started his career with Euroclear in the Corporate Actions team. In 2011 he made the move to the Asset Management world when he joined BNP Paribas as a Senior Corporate Actions Administrator. Since then, Steve has held various positions within BNP positions such as Head of Corporate Actions and Head of Reconciliations. He’s seen the daily struggles faced by the global custodians and Asset Managers. As a result, an objective throughout Steve’s career is to keep things simple. Steve gets great satisfaction from knowing that when things work well, people work better.
