Dr Sabine Dittrich

/ Global Head of Regulatory Intelligence, UBS Asset Management

Sabine Dittrich is a senior Buy- and Sell-Side Professional with particular focus on Regulation and Strategy. Currently, she hasĀ  global responsibility for a business-aligned (COO) team of permanent senior regulatory specialists and temporary business analysts for monitoring and assessing regulatory impact within EMEA, Americas and APAC on UBS Asset Management's Product, Client Coverage, Investment and Governance Division and guiding the organization on regulatory headwinds and opportunities on its Strategy and Operations. Sabine has a well established network with regulators and policymakers with whom she and her team discusses and supports shaping upcoming regulations on behalf of UBS Asset Management.

Sabine is an experienced organizer and participant of panel discussions. She represents UBS Asset Management in a number of policy focused Steering Committees, is the former Chair of the AFME Post Trade Legal Committee and current Vice-Chair of the EFAMA Distribution and Client Disclosure Standing Committee.

Prior to her current role, Sabine was, within UBS, inter alia Head of EU Public Policy for UBS Group and for several years Principle Associate of the Financial Institution's Group of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

As a German qualified lawyer, Sabine has worked in Frankfurt, Milan, Paris, Zurich and London. She is author of a number of publications, holds a PhD in International Securities Law and an MBA of HEC Paris.
